The Program at a Glance is now available with over 30 educational sessions to choose from! Our main focus this year is highlighting the revisions and updates to the building, fire, and design codes coming into use at the end of 2020. But of course there will also be sessions regarding how the pandemic of COVID-19 is changing the way we are currently designing for resiliency of health care facilities.

To help us kick off the adoption by Florida of the 2018 FGI Guidelines, Doug Erickson, Chief Executive Officer of the Facility Guidelines Institute, will deliver a keynote overview of the 2018 edition and the revisions that are being made to the 2022 edition.

We are also pleased to announce many of the Healthcare Guidelines Revision Committee (HGRC) chairs and members will present some of the 2018 revisions and explain the intent of particular sections. In addition, many of the presenters who have been directly involved with the revisions to the 2018 NFPA Codes and Standards and the 7th edition of the Florida Building Code will provide detailed insights to these revisions.

This will be your only opportunity to meet and engage with the people who actually write, revise, lecture, enforce, and interpret the Codes and Standards for health care design and construction that are enforced in Florida.
